Yes, I do judge books by their covers.

THB says it’s yum, but it’s so ugly!! How am going to put such an ugly thing in my mouth and it’s so expensive! Actually I wouldn’t mind trying it… but i don’t understand how come the Japanese people can genetically modify an orange to make it juicy but not pretty as well. There’s that really round looking orange things, but apparently not very tasty. So it’s an either or situation I guess.

Today, as I was walking into negotiations class, I overheard guy saying to his friend, “must be an easy class”. I didn’t really hear the standard of which he used to judge the simplicity of the class by, but I disagree. Yes, the material covered isn’t rocket science, but HAVE YOU DONE A NEGOTIATION BEFORE? It is awfully draining and almost everything depends on the person you get paired up with that week. I once sat with a guy in silence for a good 7 minutes because we both refused to lower our prices and another time, I got yelled at by an overly enthusiastic exchange girl. The irony is, there was fairly simple probability working on the board which I assume was from the class earlier, which means .. THEIR CLASS IS EASY AS WELL!! :D Heehee. Maybe it’ll get harder for them, but hey it gets harder for us as well!! Anyway, other than that, I had a pretty good one and a half hours at uni because I didn’t get creamed at negotiations. :D I think we came up with an agreement that was in line with the Pareto efficiency frontier! My partner and I then spent the rest of the time talking.

I guess it all depends on your partner and how “real” you want to make the negotiations and then who finally “compromises”!

I agree, the orange looks really un-palatable but then since I love oranges and eat all types, if it was a really sweet one, I would go for it!

GMO (genetically modified organism) foods are really bad. they did a test non-GMO vs. GMO and gave it to hamsters, and the hamster which ate non-GMO food survived longer
